I Broke my Genesis 1 base, and need help fixing it.
So, in the recent M4/V4 sale, I picked up a number of characters, and tonight I GenX'd them over to Genesis.... And all was good. However, a while back I picked up Raw Art's Grebloids for Kids 4. I don't have Kids 4, but bought it for the skins... Well, I was curios if the morphs inj would work on M4, to be able to transfer it over to kids 5. It did. Unfortunately, something happened, and now any time I try loading a Genesis (Base, Basic Male,Basic Female, or preload character) into Daz, I get a Genesis Kids loaded.... I have to say the Kid version on Lycan is kinda cute, but I really would like full scale characters again... Micheal 5 looked really funny with a kids head, and currently used shows nothing.
Edit: I found part of the problem, for whatever reason, Basic Child has been set to 100% everytime a Genesis character is loaded... any idea of how to turn that off?

Just reinstall Genesis Base files. If you use DIM > Uninstall > Delete and Reinstall. If you don't delete it from DIM before reinstalling it won't fix the problem.
While reinstalling will work here, since Basic Child is part of the base, it wouldn't help if this was an add-on morph (installing the add-on would, if you knew which contained the morph, and if the product itself wasn't faulty as a few freebies have been). The alternative method is to look in Currently used in the Parameters pane to find the problem morph, then click the gear icon on its slider and set the Default value to 0, then go to File>Save as>Support Assets>Save Modified Assets and, as long as that morph is the only thing listed, click Accept.
Well, the uninstall /reinstall worked... So I'm happy... I'm still curios at what happened... It was odd, as the only time a kids base was even loaded was after the transfer was done, and the head morph was the only thing transfered.... I loaded the Genesis kid, added the head morph and mats, then saved it as a figure preload. The big thing was that while the kids base slider was at 100%, it did not show up in the "currently used" section of the Genesis... Oh well, I guess it's just one of those things...
