Questions about Cross Figure Resource Kit

Does this product:

https://www.daz3d.com/genesis-8-cross-figure-resource-kit ;

allow you to cross clothing between other Genesis figures or only between 8 male and 8 female? How does it work differently that autofit and a bit of smoothing/colliding? Can I use it to make things from 8 fit Genesis 9? Thanks.

1) Only between G8M and G8F.
2) Using this method retains any custom rigging, corrective bend morphs and additional bones the vendor might have created for the asset. Autofit destroys these, and thus frequently has problems with mesh tearing and stretching that a properly rigged asset would not.
