Help with Lost Content

I have installed Daz Install Manager, then installed Daz 4.8. The install manager shows 30+ items in the "Installed" column. Nothing shows up in the Content Library pane? The downloaded files are in c/Users/Public/Public Documents/My Daz 3D Library folder, what happened?

Studio and DIM, by design, do not use the same default install locations.
You will need to add 'c/Users/Public/Public Documents/My Daz 3D Library' to your mapped content folders in Studio. Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager and then add that to both Studio and Poser formats.
I just checked and it looks correct. Except it looks like: c/Users/Public/Documents/My Daz 3D Library not, c/Users/Public/Public Documents/My Daz 3D Library. The "Public Documents" is different.
To get the content to show, both DIM and Studio need to have exactly matching paths for the content directories. If DIM has Public/Public Documents you need to ADD that one to Studio.
Perhaps more annoyingly, they also don't talk to each other to coordinate installation locations. The only way to make sure DAZ|Studio is looking for content in the same place DIM has installed it is to manually check both programs' settings.
Does anyone know if the new DAZ Connect system gets around this long-standing problem by never using DIM in the first place?
Rob has put up a couple of scripts that will sync from DS to DIM or vice versa:
