Awww! Looks like the little one rocked herself to sleep in that cozy-looking living room. Such a lovelly image :)

I am not lost - just had a bit of mashed-potato-brain with not much creativity floating around. Mainly due to burnout and one of the winter bugs that's been making the rounds. Will try and come up with something before the month is out tho.

I'm afraid I've lost a lot of peeps.. Not sure if there will be a challenge next year.  Depends if peeps still want one.  Hard to stay motivated with only a few participants... Where is everyone?

  • Im lurking. Just not had time or energy to render much the last half of the year.

Here is an older image for you of a non breathing critter

My ode to Shakespeare. Just somthing sily i did.

Little Seb happy as can be, got a new turtle neck sweater along with the complete works of Shakespeare for christmass. With his trusty skull he found in the old spooky church down the street, he can now be the next Olivier

I may have one render (I'm giggling like a kid thinking about the title laugh) but I'm just not sure how long it'll take to render (I'm trying to use an atmosphere cube to show light ray, but it's taking forever to render… I'll likely be over 10k iterations and 15 minutes just for the 512x512 tip file…).

Hopefully it'll be done before tommorow, because I have guest that'll be using the bed in the room with my computer, and I don't understand why, they are not ready to sleep with a computer blasting its ventilators. Philistines blush

Even using the very fine art of twisting rules like a pretzel, it was hard to have a render ready when I didn't have the monthly animal but I followed and enjoy every render shared, so hopefully you'll continue with the challenge smiley

Yeah, I too hope there will be a 2025 challenge also. Not been as present as I was last year but hopefully next year I will be better.

25k iterations later… (the atmoshphere box is really a performance killer but provided a softer lighting around the bike), I have a render, and I wasn't sure I would find an idea.

But it should be within the rules, no twisting of the rules, I'm even right on the IRL time theme. After all, I want to be on the good list and get as much gifts as Santa can carry, right ?

Speaking of carrying gifts, Victoria and Lacey were visiting Victoria's parents in London and they decided to go in a shopping spree to get gifts to everyone. Lacey was a bit skeptical when Victoria insisted on biking here, using ther parents's bucket e-bike and in a way, it ended as a #CarryGiftsOlympics challenge laugh

‘Are you sure we didn’t forget anyone? I see a little space between the two plushes…’ said Lacey, feeling a bit cramped with all the Christmas’s gifts loaded in Victoria’s parents bucket bike.

‘Told you we didn’t need the car,’ answered Victoria, keeping an eye on the vehicles around her.

Thankfully, the bus driver behind was at a safe distance and didn’t try to pass her.

‘Well, but next time, I’m driving and you’re crushed by all the gifts…’

‘Sure, once you get the hang of using the correct side of the road, though.’

The two plushes were time limited freebies from 3Dshards.

I wish everyone of you a merry Chrismas.

@Elor, that's a whole lot of iterations but it has made for a lovelly-looking dusk in December feel so hopefully the punishment to your rendering-computer was justified. Not really on social media myself so don't know about that trend but it does seem like the girls have done well to pack so much onto that bike! I love the Christmas-coloured outfits too :)

I probably should have gone for a Christmas image too but instead I came up with this thing. You could argue that it features the giving of a gift so is still somewhat loosely festive but that's a bit of a stretch. More importantly tho, I have a non-breathing animal to count for the thread theme :)

Here we go, non-breathing wire deer and penguins, putting on a big, bright display!

    Merry Christmas 2024

One of my favorite Christmas decorations is my light-up deer in the yard. And as far as my husband and daughter are concerned, there is literally NO SUCH THING as too many Christmas lights XD So I decided to “deck the yard” for this year’s big Christmas picture.

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and Happy Holidays ^_^

    Rendered in Daz Studio Iray.

    Postwork in Pixelmator Pro.
