having trouble with Selina bundle...

The Selina Bundle (at this link http://www.daz3d.com/selina-bundle), with side hair, and summer dress.Ok, just bought it tonight, worked out good at first, problem is.. Cant put a texture on the summer outfit, like nothing, it starts to load then just goes right back to blank white, the whole outfit. Second issue turned out after I originally added textures to the hair, just simple brown, looked great, but now cant get that to work either. it only adds a little brown to just a few strands, thats all. I don't know If I am doing something wrong now or what. She loaded fine the first time except for not being able to have color on the outfit. But now she wont accept any changes. I have daz studio 4.8. also hexagon 2.5 but never used that at all with this character. I did howver load the fit body morphs package, but they arent being used if that helps.

Any insight here guys? And thanks in advance for any help. Hate to think I spent $50 tonight on unuaseable stuff!

If you try applying a material, then go to Hlp>Troubleshooting>View Log and scroll to the end are there any errors? Are you using Smart Content or Content Library>DAZ Studio Formats to load?

I think I figured it out. I am relativly new and didnt realize I had to highlight the outfit, and go to surfaces, then add the color to the outfit. I was thinking it was supposed to already have color to it. Thanks though.

Ah, some items will come with Hierarchical presets where materials (or poses) will be applied to items thata re parented to the figure so sometimes your initial expectation will be right.
