Decimator and M6I underwear

Hello,
Using Daz Studio 4.8 and Decimator, I can reduce the polygon count of my Genesis 2 Male. However when decimating M6I_Boxerslip and M6I_TShirt the mesh is entirely corrupted. Do you have advice for me please ?
Moreover, when using M6I clothes I don't need the under vertices anymore. Is there a way to remove them ?
And is there a way to reduce the polygon count of M6I models outside Daz to import them once decimated ?

well it does depend on the mesh, does it need Decimating, the distortion might be a cause from economic modelling. It you don't know you can see how the mesh looks in 3D by changing the draw style to Lit Wireframe. and see how many Vert and pokys it has by looking into the Scene Info Pane with the item selected.
