anyone, just tell me what packages to install. What are the genesis male, starter, female packages? PostgreSQL?GoZ?
all starter essential package (genesis starter, or genesis2female male, , genesis3 female male, ) you can use it in daz stuido. then you install them, without you only need one.
about postgre sql ,, it is database to serch contents then install it too. . GoZ is plug in ,easy export import for z-brush.
if you do not have z-brush, you may need not install it. (I do not know, if I install it,, it cause problem because I do not have z-brush)
if you have other package, which you do not know,, ask here again with the package name, someone must reply you clearly.
As i have said i may use it for rendering Blender models. So i have to install all the genesis packages? What is 3D print Geo-Craft.
I wont be installing genesis starter essentials PoserCF as i don't use Poser, and I don't know about Photoshop Addon.Maybe i'll install it.
Can you please explain what are those Genesis packages are.I'm completely new to DAZ.
Each Genesis whatever Starter Essentials has the figuer, basic textures, at least some morphs (Geneisis has the most in its Starter Essentials as it was released in the beta DS 4.0, before the full morph packs) plus some hair and clothing. The DMC is for use with Mimic/LipSync - it describes which moprhs to use for which phonemes. The GeoGrafts plug holes in the figures to make them water-tight for 3D printing. PostgreSQL is the database engine used by DS for content management. GoZ is a bridge to send models to ZBrush, if you have it; sinmilarly the Photoshop bridge is for exchanging daat with Photoshop if you have it. Default Lights adn Shaders and the SubSurface Shader are used when rendering in Daz Studio.
