Ghost Items and other issues with Realty 4.+

WSCWSC Posts: 157

I'm curious if anyone has had these issues with Reality and how they resolved them.

Ghost and duplicate Items. I'm getting quite a few ghost items (items in the Reality Editor, but on actually in the scene) and cannot get rid of them. The items in the materials window are just annoying. I'm also getting ghost lights and cameras. This does effect the scence as identically named camera have different views that what was in the original Daz window. Additional lights effect the scene and it is impossible to delete them. They can be turned off, but it's hard to tell if they are still affecting the scene.

Any help would be apprecieated.

Thanks,

Are you saying that the items are also duplicated in the actual Daz file?

Because I seem to have (somehow) gotten a duplicate of some building props in my scene. I was playing around with Reality and wonder if that's the culprit (more likely it's user error, but I thought I'd ask)?

Sometimes there is only one item in the scene, but it shows up twice in the Reality editor and sometimes it was deleted from the scene but still shows up in the editor window.

Try either showing hidden nodes in the scene tab, or saving whole things as a scene subset and reloading (that will/should excise any Reality-based data in the scene)

Thanks. I tried both of those a while back actually. Nothing in hidden nodes and going to a scene subset works initially. The problem is the issues return after saving the scene.
