How to convert old daz models to triax, mesh update?

Hello, About 3 years ago, I could easily convert an old figure to a mesh, like genesis... Kinda like that... for example, at that time, I could convert Emotguy's mesh. I wanted to do the same thing now but it's a problem, see the images Is there a solution for this?

Yes, I think so. Possibly more than you need: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/655676/tutorial-making-triax-figures-from-old-parametric-characters/p1

It's aimed at Generation 3, but most of it works for all parametric characters.

The command you are showing is for Subdivision (which will not convert to TriAx), and you should only select the top level node, i.e., Emotiguy, and not the sub-nodes.

To convert to TriAx, you need to go to Edit->Figure->Rigging->Convert Figure to Weight-Mapping. Subdividing before or after might or might not make a difference in the resulting weight maps.

Hello, thank you very much for your attention. You did a huge job, thank you for your effort. But this is not exactly what I think I am looking for. I've been using Daz Studio since 2008, however, I haven't used it for 2 years lately... Reinstalling everything now, again... But there was a solution, which was just "one click" of the mouse.

OOOH NOOOOO!!!! I can't believe it was just that!!!! Yes, that's it!!! I was going to edit/figure/geometry/...When I should have gone to rigging. I even looked for old copies of daz studio, thinking that the new version had abandoned this function. With this function, I can export Emotguy's FBX, within Blender, with all the morphs in the form of shape keys. I did this years ago, I just didn't remember that detail. Thank you very much

Good to see you got what you needed. That detail is in the tutorial, but seriously buried. Regards, Richard.
