Looks pretty amazing! Although I do have to say I wished it included some Indiana-Jones-esque death traps. It's half the fun of those old tombs! :D

You could always slab a stone surface shader on a sphere primitive and drop it from the ceiling. Clear up that long corridor a bit and it got a long runway to roll on.wink

  • very nice !

This set looks all sorts of awesome!! So many possibilities. Have to say, one of the images almost had me in tears though as it triggered a memory of a particularly harsh tomb raider experience from the Midas temple!!!

    *gasp*

I can't talk about Tomb Raider right now....I'm still deeply annoyed that they've gone to the dark side and gone exclusively to X-box! I feel betrayed I tells thee! Betrayed!!!

  • Looks awesome, guys!!

    I hope you are right!

  • I hope so, too.  I'd love to play it, but I'm not buying an xbox.  Not even for Tomb Raider.

  • Nice tomb set.

As for the games, haven't played them recently because simply dislike console to PC ports, due to development teams not compensating for the far better control options in the computer.

I actually prefer playing games on a console that are action games with running around and killing stuff. But I like stratergy war games on the PC.

Glad you like the set. :)

This is gorgeous. Can the ivy and debris (fallen beams and column pieces) be hidden to clear the corridor? What I have in mind is using it also as a period set rather than merely a dilapidated relic set. BTW, I am loving the Nuclear Power Plant Control Room and Prison Death Chamber.

We're pleased you like the set. To answer your Q,

No, the way we did the MAT zones you can't hide individual pillars, but you can hide all the small pillars or all the large pillars if needed. You can hide the gargoyles and vases, as well as the ivy. Inside and out.

  • I didn't quite realize just how big this tomb was from the promos you gave us before release.  Wow! I can already see some great shots in my head.  For now, though, it has to sit in the old wishlist.  It looks wonderful, though, guys.  You should quite proud.  I hope it does well.
