How do I set up a Hair item in smart content?

So I have freebie hair as a .duf. It fits fine.

I finally figured out how to get smart content to recognize it as a Hair item, but I can't for the life of me remove it from Unassigned so I can categorize it properly.

Ah, finally figured it out. Dang.

Contet DB Editor. Make it a prop/hair and put it in /Default/Hair/whatever.

Silly me, I thought 'categorize' was the way to go.

    grumble documentation grumble

Is it in Catagories>Unassigned on the Contant library pane?

If so , there are a number of options on the right click menu to catalog it or remove the reference for it from unassigned.

I found that 'get rid of unassigned' just doesn't work. Ever. I spent a long time trying to make it work.

The best bet is ignore the whole Categorize thing entirely and do Smart Content DB Editor instead!

Ugh. This is still a nightmare. No wonder people hate to deal with smart content.

(Trying to get a folder to map over to Props, and it just f'in refuses)

I've been trying for 20 minutes to categorize a dinosaur as a land animal. It just... refuses. WTF.
