Is there a beginners tutorial for Dynamic Clothing?
I have had some dynamic clothing for awhile but never used because I'm not sure how it works. I looked on Youtube but the tutorials there seem to be geared towards animation and don't really show how to make the clothes fit to the character. Does anyone know of a good tutorial that explains this in plain english? Any help would be appreciated.

In Daz Studio? If the clothes have a Fit to option, and you are using them on the figure they were made for, you can fit them, pose your figure and do a single frame drape by clicking the button in the Dynamic Clothing pane. However, if the clothes don't have a Fit to option or if you are using them on a different figure then you will have to follow the aniamted drape route.
What if I don't see a Dynmic Clothing Pane? Sometimes it shows up on the right side with Parameters and My Content but now it's not there.
All panes should be available from Window > Panes (Tabs) and that is where Dynamic Clothing should be if it is not visible already.
Is it in Window>Panes(Tabs)? If not go to Help>About Installed Plug-ins and check its status there - if you isntalled the Advanced plug-in but haven't bought it then that may have left you with no working version, in that case you would need to unisntall the Advanced version and if that failed to help reinstall Ds (or buy the Advanced version and enter its serial number, of course).
Dynamic Clothing Your First Drape and Beyond It is a little dated, but still very solid advice. This is what I used to learn how to use the Dynamic Clothing Engine. Just remember that while you can move the whole character without redraping, if you actually change a character's pose, you need to redrape. Sometimes, there are incidences of clothing falling to the floor when there are a lot of elements. Make you have all of your collisions checked. Just follow the pdf and your should be fine. There are also a couple of old threads talking about Dynamic Clothing and their idiosyncrasies, but I'd have to go track them down and I don't remember if I actually bookmarked them or not.
Basically, dynamic clothing is a Poser thing and it doesn't really work very well in DAZ Studio. It's extremely hit and miss and mostly just doesn't work at all unfortunately.
Dynamic Clothing designed for DAZ Studio will always have Optitex listed as one of the vendors, and it is designed to work with the Dynamic Clothing plugin in DAZ Studio. Poser Dynamic clothing does not work in DAZ Studio at all, it is designed for the Cloth Room in Poser, and is not rigged, they are only OBJ mesh files.
