Deleting/managing Dimension Presets (Global) in Render Settings

How do I delete unwanted Dimension Presets in the Render Settings. There used to be a choice at the bottom to remove but it's long gone and now I have unwanted custom settings clogging up my list and can't figure out how to get rid of them or adjust them without creating a new one.

Ideally I'd like to be able to rearrange or catagorise them too.

As long as you have "User Presets", you can Remove User Presets..., as below. Can you see that menu item?

That option isn't there for me (v4.22).

Oh... that's because you haven't created any User Preset... Create one, save it as User Preset, then you'll see that option.

But the last 10 on my list are custom made by me (although it was years ago that I made them). Maybe Daz has at some point forgotten that they are custom?

I can create and delete new User Presets, but I can't get rid of my old ones!

Oh... I presume DS update might've brought you such an issue. Anyway, just try creating a new one and see if you can get it back.

Or, pls open File Broswer, paste this path there: %appdata%\DAZ 3D\Studio4\  There's a file dzrendersettingsdimensionspresets.dsx. Open it with Notepad or Notepad++...  see if you can find these Presets. You can modify them as well.

I can create a new one and then that one is avaiable to delete, but not the rest.

The dzrendersettings file doesn't have a record of the 10 entries I want to remove, but if I create a new one it does appear in there.

Huh, so messing with that file has done something, they just all vanished!

    Problem solved I guess...
