Is 4.9 out?

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

I saw a YouTube on Daz's site today advertising 4.9.  Since 4.8 is the first version I've ever owned, let me ask, how does one upgrade to the next version?  It doesn't appear intuitive to me anyway.

    yeah as cho said it is still in beta and only available through DIM (Daz Install Manager) but I have to ask what doesn't appear intuitive.

    I assumed from the pormo video they put out that they were announcing the release, and I couldn't figure out how to update my version.  Most software vendors put big banners on their site, "Download New Version Now!", kind of thing.  That's all I meant.  Since it's actually still in Beta, I understand.

    It looks like they've dropped a new public beta - and it is listed as a release candidate.
