I was looking for SS Lovey Bear aka Lovey Bear Re-energized (SKU 13280) in the store, and I can't find it! There's a pose set for it, but no Lovey Bear. :blank: It used to be at http://www.daz3d.com/shop/lovey-bear-re-energized-1/ -- anybody got a current link?

Seems like a silly reason to open a ticket, but:

They just added metadata to it! Why do that if they were about to dump it?

http://www.daz3d.com/shop/lovey-bear-poses ? It's working fine for me. But Lovey Bear itself I can't find in the DAZ store.

    Britney, Aug 30 15:52 (MDT):

This item is currently unavailable. The Artist has taken it down for fixes, etc. Please watch our site for that re release.

Huh. I could've sworn this was a PlatClub item. And had just recently been "re-energized". Speaking of which: cute pic, Sockratease!

So I'm planning to do a render (in DAZStudioPro4.5) this weekend with a character hugging a teddy bear -- I wanted to be able to link to where the bear can be bought in case anyone's interested, so I'd rather use a live product that's not too expensive. I'm going to recolor the texture (think team colors) and I was going to try the SuperSuit Fur shader to make it furry, but I'm not wedded to that. Any recommendations?

You could always use one of the 3 bears

Hmmmmmm . . . okay, on the list, but it'd take a lot more work to get the teddy-bear look I wanted than with Lovey Bear (and since these are likely to be 3D-newbies that's an issue). Thanks, though.

    Beth ,

I did a quick look on ShareCG.com searching Teddy Bear and I found some that I liked the look of. I don't know if any of those would help you, but just a suggestion.

I actually did the same at Rendo, but wasn't impressed with the teddy bears there.

And of course, if you go of site, there are always the plushie family at RDNA

You might want to take a look at Mada's Pookie Bear, a freebie from Faeriewylde. (Site requires registration.) Pookie comes with a cute little outfit and an ice cream prop. I made DS mats for him a little while ago, using some old shader presets as well as just regular mats:

Yay! Iron Man and Lovey Bear go well together. Nice job.

Here's an old one combining Iron Man and Lovey Bear in a slightly different way...

I did find a link to an interesting Dazstore by using Google, but my post was removed ... maybe you could just contact customer support and let them add it back to the store? (Like the once vanished Classic Rolled hair which resurfaced after asking for it)
It could be just an indexing problem - the store has many of those.

I really like this model. I used it here http://youtu.be/BVEqg0XInRg to work on my editing n compositing skills (very much in progress). It animates (I use Carrara) fast and can be substuted for more complex figure when just working things out.
