1. If you had both the G8 and G9 version of the Sweet Romance outfit, could you use the textures on the other one? I.e. G8 textures of G9 and vica versa.

For your first question, it's just a guess because I don't have either of them, but the textures path in each files list seems to the same:

I only have one, but I would assume that they are using same UV, i.e. can use same texture.

I had forgot about the Satine Detective Outfit. Even though it autofits to G9 pretty well, I wouldn't be opposed to a G9 version with open/close options for the top

Or if open/close morph is too hard to do, just two version of the top.
