Using V3 products on G8+ Figures

I was going through all the products I have purchased over the last 10+ years, and have a lot of V3 products. I was wondering if anyone uses their old V3 products on their G8+ characters? If you have what are your thoughts? Do they look just as good as when they were new?

Specifically, I am looking at specific hair products and clothing (especially from Aery Soul).

    I haven't tried with G9 or 8.1 but have used hairs that old on G8. Hairs are easy to use on other generations, for the most part.  Position the hair and use Parent in Place, which keeps the original morphs. You'll want to update with Iray hair shaders; SloshWerk's https://www.daz3d.com/uht-hair-shaders-for-iray is my favorite because it has many colors and is super-easy to use, but there are more by him and other PAs in the store.

     I have no idea about clothes, sorry. I don't think Riversoft & Sickleyield have a converter for V3 to later generations.

    This product:  V3 and M3 Shapes for Genesis | Daz 3D  

    will let you autofit V3 clothes on Genesis 1, which you can then autofit to later figures.

    Here are clones that allow fitting V3 and M3 clothes to G8 using autofit. They work quite well.
