Looking for a simple script that runs Keyshorts

Hi,

I would like to start one or more shortcuts automatically. In particular, I can't define the "˄" (ctrl) on the Mac keyboard and "Ctrl+N" doesn't work because it's the command key (cmd)?! I experimented with ActionTrigger and ActionMgr but had no success because I'm (still) a dummy. Please kindly provide an example script :-)
