Hair scalp skin help

Hi all. I have a hair style with Scalp surface and everytime i render, the skin tone would be different then on my figure. (For example the edges of my head would be very bright and the rest of the body is a little darker) But in the viewport it looks perfectly fine. Can anyone help?

edit: only occurs when i render with Iray

It sounds as if some of the settings that don't show in preview - SSS or trnslucence for example - differ. Without more details it's hard to offer advice - is this a store item or a freebie?
