G8 to G8.1 pose conversion? I see other pose conversions...

I see a lot of pose conversions from G3 -> G8, G8 -> G9, G9 -> G8, but I have some wonderful poses that I have acquired that are requiring G8 and will not accept a G8.1.

Is there a utility/script somewhere which will convert G8 poses to G8.1 poses?  I'd really like to use these and not have to create them myself (yeah, I'm feeling lazy at the moment).

As far as I'm aware, the joint rotations and rig should be the same, so I don't think any conversion is needed, the poses should have the same results on 8.1 as on 8. What does the pose look like after you apply it? Or is it an issue with some specific hierarchy pose that is looking for a different figure base?

A workaround would be to load a G8 figure in the scene, apply the pose to that, copy figure, and paste figure pose to the G8.1 that needs it.

Normal poses are interchangeable between 8.1 and 8.0, though I am not certain about hierarchial poses. These are pretty rare though.

You might be getting mixed up with material presets, where 8.1 ones will not work correctly on 8.0 figures. I don't think there is a converter to overcome this, but some manual copy paste between surfaces should fix them.

Hierarchical poses should be fine from 8 to 8.1. There are some poses that are actually scripts, and they may well fail as DS can't insert the adjustment it applies for 8 content there.
