How do I add an action to the toolbar?

I have created a custom action and I want to add it. I assumed I could just drag it across, but I can't. How do I add it? (i.e. move it from the left panel to the right panel)?

You have to expand one of the toolbars in the right-hand pane first (using the plus sign), then drag your custom action over into the list. Alternately, you can create a new toolbar for custom actions - right-click on Toolbars, choose 'Add Toolbar' and give it name, then drag your action to it.

thanks! Any idea where the Show Preview Lights action is? I can't find it anywhere to add to my toolbar
