Smart Content Empty after 3 frsh installs

So i've been having trouble getting smarth content pane to show anytthing. I've searched google and read many forum posts but with no success, heres something i've tried -

Uninstalled and deleted all left over files, cleaned registry, installad manager and downloaded daz studio and genesis 2 starter essentials. done this 3 times. Last attempt i left all settings default, so all file paths were set be the installer. Tried re-importing data through content db maintenance. (Ran as Adminn)

Using windows 8.1, NO antivirus and firewall is off.

    Note that this almost never works — uninstalling and reinstalling the program does not affect the content. What do you see in the Content Library tab? Unlike Smart Content, this doesn't show a filtered and sorted view of links to your installed content, it shows the actual content files as they're stored on your computer.

    Hey, thanks for the help. What ended up being the problem, was that CMS wasnt installing and had to manually install it. Then i re-imported data and now the smart content works. Once again thanks!
