Daz, your search is broken on the term "dragon"

Searching for a dragon only gives one result. Searching dragons gives a few more, but all the Daz Dragons are excluded.

I could only find all the dragons by tracking through pages of Characters  - Creatures - Beasts

You may want to fix that.

Search for "Dragons" (with the quotes) or Dragonss instead.

Or one could search in Posercontent.com

    THIS

Posercontent fixed Daz's store search without touching it.

While we're reporting things, searching "sakura" does NOT return Sakura 8 as a result.

been like this for ages and i think it was reported a while ago.

  • I've mentioned this. There seems to be a bug in the store search in which if there's an exact match it only returns that single hit. In previous posts I wrote:

"It would appear that if there is an exact match - eg "Dragon", "Eagle", "Skeleton" - the search only returns that one thing. If not, it is doing a fuzzier search. If you search on "Dragons" you'll get a lot more hits."

    and

"Actually, I just confirmed it's not just single word hits. Try a search on "handbags" and you'll get a small assortment of hits including  "The Handbag" and "OziStyle for The Handbag". An actual search on:

    the handbag

returns only "The Handbag." My best guess is that the Daz store search does a fuzzier search if it gets no exact hits (hence, getting hits on products that contain the word "Handbag" and "Handbags" from the search on the latter, which has no exact match). But if it gets an exact match on the search string, it stops there and displays the result. This is a reproducible bug ..."
