Hello

I purchased decimator a time ago and I used it with DAZ 3.5
Now I downloaded DAZ 4.5
I tried to install decimator but I get the message "The installation path for DAZ Studio can not be found..."

Both DAZ 3.5 c/w decimator and 4.5 are still installed
Should I remove 3.5, maybe ?
what else ?

    There is no DAZ Studio 3.5, the last version was 3.1.2.32 I believe.

    Have you installed DS 4.5.0.114, and did you install to the default location? The version of Decimator that you are trying to install, should also end in .114, and should be the correct bit depth (32 OR 64 bit).

    There is no need to uninstall DS3.

    Jimmy is correct. I have DS3A and DS4.5P both up and running and both have Decimator installed and working. Just be sure you install the proper version of Decimator into the DS4.5P program. It should come with your DS4.5P downloads.

    Actually the decimator version which I purchased for Daz 3,1 ends with 2.55_win64
    DAZ 4.5 64 is installed in the default folder
    I can not find version .114 in my account
    Should I place a new order ?

    Go to your Itemised Order History, find Decimator, and click the Reset button. That will give you the latest versions for DS 4.5

    i have tried this and it still tells me that it can't be installed.. :/ help pls?

    Have you managed to sort this out yet?

    What version of DS4.5 are you using, Help > About DAZ Studio will give you the exact version number.

    Did yiou reset Decimator from your Itemised Order History? You have to buy Decimator, it is not a free plugin.

    I think Decimator is already part of DS 4.5 Pro, you just have to enter your Decimator serial number in the plug-in window to activate it.

    Decimator is a Pay only plugin. You must buy it to have the proper version to match the DS version you are using. If you bought it in the past you will get all versions in your My Products for all versions of DS you have bought in the past.

    Decimator plug-in is bundled with DS. However it is not free, and requires purchase so that you can input the serial number and actually use it.

    How do I apply the serial number? I just bought Decimator last night. DAZ didn't send me a serial number but I found it in my account. I installed it then In DS 4.5, Then I opened the list of installed plug-ins and pasted in the number and hit return. Nothing. Then I clicked on a shopping cart icon on the right and a web page opened saying 404 Not Found. Isn't the status icon supposed to turn green and make the plug-in available to me?

    Edit: Solved. I found something in the Knowledge Base and got it to work. :-)

    For lurkers/future readers, that should be: after inserting the serial, you need to close DAZ Studio and reopen it for the plug-in to unlock.
