WOW.. This thread devolved quickly as I read it... and IMHO mostly based on lack of facts ( I dislike conjecture stated as fact).
Does anyone know whether Daz does or does not have Holiday submission deadlines?
Is there anyone at DAZ doing quality control to say something like, "Oh we will include this Mistletoe on December 10 so there will be 14 new releases instead of 13"? Or is there just a queue and the Mistletoe gets relegated to post Christmas because it was submission number 192-347A?
What kind of relationship does DAZ have with its PA's? If I made the Mistletoe can I call up and talk to the person that handles my account (is there one?) and say,"Hey Sal, about that MIstletoe... it's almost Christmas... can we put it in real soon?"
I am a NOOB! and a card-carrying member of the unwashed masses. Now is the perfect time to help me understand factually about how the process works. I can't imagine what I am asking is a propriatary secret. Please educate me.

It actually seemed a bit worse this year, but maybe I was just watching things a bit closer. Since it takes me a significant amount of time to put a render together, anything that comes out less than 3-4 weeks before the holiday typically won't generate a sale to me until the next year (if it goes on sale at the right time).
But I may just be an unusual customer that doesn't by something 11 months before I might want to use it.
I think Thanksgiving Week there should be a banner added to DAZ Store banner linking to listing of Christmas products, old & new. Same with other Holidays and DAZ should trouble themselves to add for major holidays in other nations (although the supply of Catholic holidays in Catholic areas seems endless).
Even better- Christmas in July for us slowpokes.

Wow! We haven't even seen Valentine's Day candies & knick-knacks yet. And for some reason they completely ignore New Year's Day in the stores.
It's January 3rd, and "Deck the Halls Bundle 1" is in Fast Grab. Get it while you can. Only 355 days til Christmas.
Those with PC+ should be cautious though - buying the products in the bundle individually is much cheaper than buying that bundle.
For PC members buying those 8 items is about $16. The bundle is over $32. Just a heads up. :)
I bought the Victorian Christmas Tree & it's recent PC+ addon on the 31st. Now I need to model me a good set of reins that are dynamic & look for a sleigh that's more to me liking.

As far as I can tell, older seasonal stuff is already in the store year 'round. It may not be on sale all the time, but it is definitely available. Same with winter-themed goodies like DA's Let it Snow.
