First AI Image

First image using the new Daz AI Studio. Neat but there are only two options to chose from Victoria 9 and Michael 9. Question is this really "art" as I didn't do anything other than type some words.

Actually the prompt is limited to not very long and it won't let Lady Guinevere hide behind a large wooden banana. Could a Haiku possibly be art, after computers reaching so and so TOPS/RAM/WATS?

    Not sure...

Typing a prompt feels no different than sending a message to an artist. So you're as much an artist as a person trying to commissioning an art piece from an artist.

I mainly like to draw, so even my DAZ renders barely feel like "art." Partially, it's because my creativity is limited to things others have made. (As opposed to my creativity being limited by my own physical skills. So yeah, I know my opinion is a smoldering hot take.) But I still find joy and entertainment in rendering stuff in DAZ Studio. With AI, part of the entertainment is seeing if the results are usable. There's also the added element of surprise. For my purposes, they're not the same thing.

I think these are two very good points, it's actually kind of funny to me to hear people yelling about AI removing all the creativity while building scenes entirely composed of content that others made.  ;)    I also like the surprises that AI can turn out; they may not always (or even often) be usable, but they can inspire.

Now so far, I've only made one image with this DAZ AI and it was awful, lol. In time though, I can see this as being a decent alternative for those who want to use DAZ content but either can't afford it, don't have the hardware to render, can't or don't want to learn Studio itself, or want to make art on mobile devices. I wish those who don't like this could try just ignoring it.

So the question remains when will the additional features Daz showed in the email I got be available? It's cool and all but I find it more satisfying to construct a scene rather than just type a few words. Plus there is the issue of copy right violations as was pointed out to me in a AI render of Taylor Swift as a Viking Maid that I posted in the gallery but since removed. I'll see if additional features are added and if not I'll cancel my subscription.

That'll be interesting, e.g. selecting an environment. But perhaps those get sold extra too, no idea yet.

For today i've tried, i'm giving up.

Coming out of the blue this AI studio for me is groundbreaking

Unfortunately I didnt download my first images, and they didnt remain when I returned to the site. I hadnt expected that.

I like AI studios simplicity, but some link to instructions/guide could have been included.

Also anything that may include nudity appeared to be censored and didnt render, despite my needing to logon to my account.

Some images were very charming in a most Disnesque style with great lighting effects despite me not specifying any.

Quite amazing as Ive not seen anything like this before. I'm hoping/assuming my existing Daz library, may in the future be applied to this ?

    Well done Daz!

Nothing special. There are better AI programs.

Tghis is a female clown juggling canaries.

The canaries seem to be unhatched. I need that clown wig for Daz Studio.
