Uh-OH! I can't take off the makeup...

Hi all,

I'm using the Extreme Closeup G2F makeup kit and I just noticed when I put on a makeup without ctrl-Z back to the original, it builds up... Now I can no longer go all the way back and undo because DAZ has a maximum undo history amount that won't let me go back any further and I must have something like 10 more layers of gunk to get off of my poor G2F who looks like a despondent clown now (haha!). I don't see any 'remove makeup' script either.

Anyone know how to remove makeup?

Thanks!

I'm not sure how this works, exactly...but for most things reapplying the original texture will 'undo' all the added stuff.

    Ok thanks!

I will try to figure that out then- reapplying the original texture...

Say you are using Victoria 7...there should be a materials folder for her, right under the character.  In the materials should be a full or base or something similar.  That is the original texture.  With Victoria selected, it would be a matter of clicking on that preset.

  • Thanks! That did the trick!

Would be great to have a Layer-Palette that shows what you're Avatar is wearing.

    Simple ADD or DELETE LAYER

I never find a list what skin layers i have applied. Or SSS Shader are applied ir not.

I saw what you're talking about in the Layered Image Editor but I botched it up removing layer on layer of makeup. So I ended up reloading the texture as mjc suggested and voila it fixed it.

  • Ok, so... I have the same problem but a new exception to this problem... I can't remember what texture I used... and I have so many textures that I hate to try to find it and take two hours matching pictures to find the right one. my computer is slow and doing renders to find the right one takes valuable time away from me doing other renders. There obviously needs to be a way to see/add/remove what layers are on a figure without reapplying textures. Someone does a fix on this and they would have a very good money maker on their hands. just sayin.
