IGIrayLightsandShadersArchitecturalLights

It seems that the lights are missing OBJ files that it references. this is the actual error message

Some assets missing this may cause the item to not function properly, then it gives this reference

C:/Users/James/Pictures/Iray Lights & Lamps - Arct/CloudLightTrimMd.obj

can a correction please be made so that this item functions properly thanks

I'm starting to guess that it might not be installed properly.

    "C:/Users/James/Pictures/Iray Lights & Lamps - Arct/CloudLightTrimMd.obj"

That is an odd path to be looking for things.  How are you downloading and installing? I really recommend using Install Manager.

  • Sorry you are having problems with this. What you are seeing is what happens when Daz Studio can't find the data file the duf file is calling for. Then it tries to call for the original OBJ that the prop was created from. But those OBJ's are never included in the actual product package itself. So the real error is that it can't find the data file it is calling for. I'm not sure just why this is happening to you. Both my testing version and the final downloaded version both are working correctly for me. Could be a couple of reasons why it is giving you problems. Does it happen with any of the other lights in the set or is this the olny one? Could be a corupted file or bad install.

As evilded777 asked, how are you installing this and what version of Daz Studio are you using?

ok well i installed it manualy in daz 4.8.0.59. my computer is on with another company and the install manager and thier install system do not co-exist well at all. so I have to manualy install all my daz on a seperate drive to the main program drive. And No Inane no other problems with other lights and the like..... Reason it has taken me so long to respond is that this post dissapeared for a while..... Interesting....

OK well lets see after all your advice i decided to redownload it and then install it manualy one item at a time, well it worked now I am getting no error thanks for all you help.... and i really like the product despite the problems I was having with it.....
