Great idea. The "Studio Paris" item has been in my wishlist for a while, now I've got it and am looking forward to ... I dunno, something. Its the kind of item that inspires a story all by itself, especially with Carrara lighting included.
The Pro Video Camera is also nice, especially with a hi-res Carrara shader that looks great. I'm working on an animated trailer for the Houston 48 Hour Film Project's "Music Video Contest" and it came in handy.
Sorry I don't have anything to add, yet, but I'll keep my eyes open.

Thanks for digging through the web site 3drendero ------I really find the new website ---especially for Carrara users simply terrible.
Daz----if you want Carrara to helped development cost by content sales ----get your act together and help all the Carrara potential buyers out some by making finding Carrara products must easier to locate. Right now I bet most folks have given up trying to find compatible things .It just takes too much time to sort and look.
How about this :

Carrara models/props
Carrara plants
etc . etc ------- I am not as smart as you guys but try it and watch your sales of these get better.

Yeah, the New web site is difficult for Carrara consumers, but you get used to it after a few hours of browsing in the store :)
Found another PA sale that is a bit more of a long shot when it comes to Carrara, the store of Dzfire sells addons for Major Cache at half off:

Excellent tip - the camera FREE add-ons:
Tripod, Case, Camera Light and a Tapeless, Hard Drive Video Recorder.
All look great in the demo renders, and have Carrara shaders. And are sitting on my hard drive now B-}
Looks like the Studio Paris add on textures for Carrara are WIP's for now.

Got the CyberM4 I mentioned above and it works in Carrara, AWESOME!!!

First render, loaded CyberM4 in Carrara 8.1 Pro, added its Construct suit, added M4 pose, rendered.
Some of the leg pistons got detached for some reason, still ok for a 5 minute setup.
Will probably be brilliant after adding some real metal shaders.
A shame daz doesn't plug Carrara content -- I hadn't checked in the forums til today so I missed the naomi sale. Thanks for the thread, though, hopefully I'll get something out of it as the month continues.
You are welcome, check back at the end of the month extra frequently, since there is often a catch up sale of some kind, when most items are on sale again.

Simply email a support ticket or give them a call and you will get the sale price next week.
They have promised to honor the sales if technical issues stop one from buying, but Daz is also very helpful in general.
I will be doing the same with a Carrara hair item...

Day12, you know the drill, no Carrara items today.
I HIGHLY recommend the LoREZ figures for backgrounds, crowds, mock-ups and visualizations. LoREZ figures are light on resources and look "generic" (not idealized like Mike and Vicky). And you can have dozens of them in a scene.... Good for professional work where you don't want everyone looking like a pinup because the focus is meant to be something (or someone) else....

I agree. Plus its very quick for situations like the 48 Hour Film contest. Having to generate many versions of, say, M4 and V4 with clothing would take much longer, and not be much better for background figures.
I have Lorenzo and Loretta Lo-Res, but I'm not sure what Casual Lo-Res guy would add. I am considering the Lo-Res SciFi Maintenance Guy, and to a lesser extent the Lo-Res Arab guy.
