browsing to folder location

I am installing Daz3D on a new cmputer. The application will be run on an SSD while the files are stored on an external drive. The application has been installed and needs to be reconnected to the files.  I clicked on "browse to folder location" in "MyLiibrary" under the content tab, but nothing happened. How can I browse to the folder location to reconnect these files with the app?

How do I upgrade to 4.8? Is it out of beta and ready for prime time? Or should I stick with 4.6. Never saw a 4.7.

When I open the application I am asked for the serial number for Daz Decimator. I looked in my account but can't find it. Where do I find that serial number?

 

I am running Daz 4.5 on an iMac using system 10.11.

    specifically are you getitng an error or do you need to map your content from Studio? Is the content on the same drive?

    On the Mac go to Daz Studio>Preferences 

    and click on the general tab

    map the library to the file destination

    I am not getting an error message. The content is on a different drive. I navigated to Daz folder on the external drive, clicked apply and accept. Restarted Daz But no files.

    A couple of questions?

    Did you tell DS using the Content Directory Manager where the files are located? You find it under Preferences.

    Yes. I navigated to the folder and it shows that it is pointed to it, but somehow I must have missed something because nothing is showing up that it is pointed to. Actually nothing is showing up.
