For expressions, I have two pose packs that I've found extremely useful for M4. 100 Essential Emotions for M4 by Ironman13 and Michael 4 Expressions by joelegecko. Neither of which are on sale right now, unfortunately. It would probably help to know if you only have the base figure or if you have also gotten the Michael 4 3D Male Model Morphs++ which comes with some of the M4 bundles. It is an essential product that you should add if you don't already have it. It comes with 6 expressions. Other than that posing is pretty straight forward. Check out this video from the DAZ3D Youtube Channel as it does a good job showing the posing process.
Well, you could make your own expressions, but it would involve doing what vendors do and take M4 out of DS and into a modeling program and playing with the mesh to make the expression you want. It is easier to get a package of expressions, free or otherwise, until you learn how to model if you are interested in doing that. M4 has been around long enough that there are free sources and a lot of cheap packs for expressions and posing. Posing is actually easier to do inside DS without buying anything because of the Powerpose and the posing sliders under the parameters tab. Select an arm or a leg, click on Parameters and you have slider options for Bend, Twist, and something else that escapes me at the moment. DS is rendering so I can't go in and tell you what that is. You might want to check out this video on Posing from the DS Youtube Channel using Powerpos and posiing in general. It can get you started if you don't have any poses yet.
Michael 4 has a full set of facial expressions morphs, select the Head and look for them, nothing extra needed to by or having to use a modeling program.

Yes, that was mentioned at the top of the thread that the Head morphs for M4 had facial expressions. The other suggestions were meant as additional info. Most people outgrow the limited poses and expressions provided with the base models very quickly or at least I did. Just trying to give more options, both paid and free for more variety.
Gotcha. I didn't specifically mention the facial morphs so I can see why you would mention them. Since I didn't know if she had the extra head morphs, I just added it as a product she should get. It actually never occurred to me to mention the facial morphs separate, but I probably should have. I don't think I've ever actually used those to pose an expression from scratch although I know that it is possible, at least theoretically. I usually only use the facial morphs to fine tune expressions after I've applied from some other pose pack.
Sounds like I will have to experiment and see what kind of expressions I can make with just those morphs. For scientific purposes. Most of the facial morphs I use are mainly for changing M4's facial looks and not his expression. Good call.

What about those injection options that come with him? No matter how much I click, they don't work.

After you have clicked on an injection, check over on the Parameters Tab with the appropriate body part selected, dials tend to show up there.
