When saving a scene subset is there a way to save the thumb/tip as iRay

Hi, just wondering if there's a setting in Daz where you can set saving the Scene/Scene Subset with an iRay preview thumbnail and Tip file, instead of the default Texture Shaded one ?
Thankyou.

Starting from DS 4.21 (IIRC...),  you can save DUF format files with both thumnail + TIP image at the same time, but they're still Texture shaded with OpenGL.

You always can render an image or capture a screenshot of Iray Preview in Viewport and place it into the folder where DUF file locates, and name it with the correct file extension (*.tip.png...).

Or, you may check this product, Super Save. It can render a thumbnail and a TIP image for you when you click Save. https://www.daz3d.com/super-save

    Excellent, thankyou smiley
EDIT: Sadly it only seems to work with Scenes, not Scene Subsets

It's still a really good tip though, I didn't know of that script yet. And maybe you can just rename the png and use it for your scene subset as well, once you saved the complete scene? I'm wishlisting it for sure ...

Yeah, unfortunately that's right. The scripts cannot handle Subset and Presets... because there'll be DS default dialogues popping up for the user to manipulate first. DAZ Script cannot handle this sort of cases. If the author re-wrote the functions of these dialogues, that would be nearlly a mission impossible.

Anyway, you still have work around like the above-mentioned for specific case like that.
