How do I search the forums? The forum search bar is missing.
How do I follow up on my questions to the help desk? There used to be a button to see your former queries. It is no longer there. They haven't anwsered the queries I sent a few days ago.
How do I find if my questions have been answered on the forums? I used to get an email. I haven't received any from the questions I asked.

Have you bookmarked the threads that you are interested in?
To see the list of your help requests, go to https://helpdaz.zendesk.com/hc/en-us
Click on your name and then click on My activities.
That's a good point, I looked at the Zendesk page the other day and it was very different from the last time I visited, just a week or two ago. Does anyone actually like this new look? I certainly don't; it's clumsy and unintuitive.
Okay, one massive, massive misfeature — I can't reopen a closed ticket, only create a followup. Not a good thing when whoever's (mis)reading (again) my comment totally misses the point (again) and fobs me off with an excuse so off-topic I can't understand it (again).
I do like that it now displays in order of most recent activity.
It does? I thought it was still in order of ticket creation.
Yes, it's by most recent activity now.
Hmm. I still don't like it — think it would do any good to open a Zendesk ticket saying that the new Zendesk layout is a hopelessly backward step in useability?
No. And how was one supposed to know that a star means bookmark?
Also if you don't know that a subject has been covered, how would one find it to bookmark it?
Is there a way to get a notice that an answer has been posted after you have book marked it?
Are the forum pages browser specific? I am using Safari on a Mac and it is real clunky. For example, it included my comments as though Chohole has said it. When I realized it and tried to edit, it would not allow it. It pretended to have deleted my comment from hers but republished the error anyway.
It is also seems impossible to attach a comment to a specific comment. These things can cause some confusion. But It might just be a browser specific thing.
I have recently upgraded my iMac and need to update Daz3D to the latest "stable" version and then have it linked to all of the daz files which are located on an external hard drive. How do I get help with that? I think you can understand why I would not want to do this by committee.
Can someone pass this book on to the people at Daz who are building the website.

Thanks. That helped. This site is anything but intutitive. I don't know how anyone was to figure that out without a secret handshake with someone like you.
How do we change our Icon?
How do i search the forums for issues that have been discussed? Since we are required to ask all of the questions we have in a continuous thread, even though many topics may be discussed, how do we search for answers?
You aren't required to put everything in a single thread - you are required not to start mutliple threads on the same topic.
As for search, it isn't currently available in the top bar and although there is a link to the search I think you would do better to use Google or the like with
site:www.daz3d.com/forums/
as one of the search terms.
I seem to remember being told someting different in the past. But thanks for the clarification.
the zendesk ticket system is designed to allow the software to run virtually bug free. The reluctance that the end user gives up instead of banging their head against a wall by actually using the system to submit a bug and then the subsequent hopes of someone from Daz actually answering dashed after the report goes ignored for a year (followed up by "does it still do this ?") allows the software to operate with far fewer reported issues.
