Morphing Fantasy Dress for Genesis Questions

I was looking at this http://www.daz3d.com/morphing-fantasy-dress-for-genesis and it says Compatible Figures: Genesis, Victoria 4, Victoria 3

 

I was curious if I will be able to really use it with V4 and V3 or is it just that texture add-ons for the V4 and V3 versions will work with this dress?

 

One more question it says in this bundle http://www.daz3d.com/morphing-fantasy-dress-unimesh-fits that it includes http://www.daz3d.com/morphing-fantasy-dress-for-genesis

 

Now I am not sure if I get http://www.daz3d.com/morphing-fantasy-dress-unimesh-fits that I will actualy get full MFD that can work on V4 too with unimesh fits?

 

Can someone help me a bit with this. Is Genesis version of MFD better then V4 version and can it be used with V4 figures also (A4,S4 sct) if I only get this product http://www.daz3d.com/morphing-fantasy-dress-unimesh-fits that includes in it Genesis version of MFD ?

    No, the Genesis Morphing Fantasy Dress won't work on the older figures. The Genesis MFD was free to those who bought the Unimesh expansion for the V4 MFD - but that is not the V4 dress, it's a suite of morphs to be added to the base dress suporting the V4 add-on shapes. It is a little tricky to folow the page, I will flag it up.

    The actual morphing Fantasy dress is made for most of the older female characters, but each has it's own version.  So you need the MFD for V3 to fot the V3 Figure, and the MFD for V4 to fit the V4 figure.  THe Unimesh fits are an addon for the V4 MFD which enable it to be used with S4, A4 and G4.  SO you will need to buy http://www.daz3d.com/v4-morphing-fantasy-dress  as well as the Unimesh fits, which is why the Unimesh fits say that http://www.daz3d.com/v4-morphing-fantasy-dress  is a required product.

    However all add on texture sets will fit all MFD versions with the exception of the version for Stephanie 3,  which is mapped differently.

    Please note though, that although the texture sets for MFD will work with the V4, Genesis, Genesis 2, and Genesis 3 MFD, the metadata has not been completely updated to make those texture sets show up in Smart Content. This is particularly a problem for Genesis 3 Female MFD. Almost none of the texture sets show up in Smart Content for the Genesis 3 MFD. So that means that you will need to know where those texture sets are installed, navigate there in the Content Library and apply them.

    Ok, thanks a lot. I found this http://www.daz3d.com/eagle-2-0-upgrade-from-eagle-1, similarly it contains Eagle 2 version together with update of 1st version. That probably means that updated version has the same things as new version.

    The upgrade version only works if you have Eagle 1 on your system.  If you don't have Eagle 1 then you want the complete version of Eagle 2.  http://www.daz3d.com/eagle-2-0
