How to legally share DS files with a client?

I have a client that would like me to send him DS files of the work I create so that he or another artist can purchase the assets used and continue working on the project in the future if needed. I'm trying to figure out the best way to prepare files so they don't have anything embeded that I do not own the rights to.

One issue is that I often convert older content like Vitoria 4 to Genesis and I belive that when I do that the original assets are embeded in the scene files?  I assume this based on the file sizes vs using all genesis content.  I think I can save them as "support assets' so they are not embeded in the files but then the client would have to repeat many steps to replicate the support assets on his end, right? To make matters worse I often do lots of custom morphs and blend many products together.

I am an advaned DS user, I just have no experience with sharing and distributing files. I've been through the forums and documentation but maybe I missed somehting. If anyone can outline the steps required for me to legally share the content and for him to use it, that would be great. Any help would be greatly apprecited.

The converted assets should have their geometry data written to the Auto_Converted (I think) folder in the Data folder. You can check by setting up a new, empty, content directory set (make sure you save your current one as a named set first) and then trying to load the file. If that fails to load, reconnect the Poser directories with the converted files (but not the DS diectory with the Data folder) and try loading that - DS can reconstitute missign content that has been covnerted to DS format, but I fear it won't be able to redo the AutoFit.

    Thanks for the info Richard.

So I guess there is no easier way to go about it?  For things like autofit and "support assets" they will have to carefully redo those steps on their end to get it to match what I have, correct?
