Daz Studio 4.9 error message.

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

I'm getting the attached error message in the DS 4.9 Beta. I have Avast as my antivirus and firewall. How do I fix this?  I have no clue. As it is, I have no smart content, and all my attempts to get it seem to fail.

    Avast should have a firewall log and a list of exceptions, you want to make sure that PostgreSQL and DS can access local ports (if Avast has the option to grant local access, otherwise you'll need to allow them internet access as well).  Are you having problems with Smart Content in DS4.8?

    I haven't tried to use it in 4.8 lately. I will check the log.
