Series image in animation

Hello everyone, I am creating an animation in daz3D, but I have a question: does anyone know a good program where I can combine a series of images into an animation? I currently use the free Avidemux but I have the impression that it worsens the quality of these videos. Do you know any other program, preferably free? I will be grateful for your help. PS: you can also provide paid ones, maybe I can buy one, but DaVinci is out of the question due to the price. Sorry if this is the wrong section, I didn't know where to put it. Regrads

To combine the frames into an image sequence, you can do that in the free version of DaVinci actually. You don't need to buy it. I do it in After Effects though, but I have done it in Davinci Resolve too.

If you say there is a free version, I will check it tomorrow. And what format will be best for Video? Avi? MP4?

Yeah, just google davinci resolve free, it'll take you to their homepage where you'll see the button to download the free version. It has everything you need. Personally I prefer MP4, or if you can, do an uncompressed .MOV, but MP4 will be good enough.

  • Thank you for your help. Today we will download it :)

I use Image Magick, but maybe that's just me!

  • Thank you, I'll check these programs. I wanted to check DaVinci for a long time, but I didn't know that there was a free version. Thank you for your help. I greet each of you.

Just another "vote" for DaVinci Resolve,  the free version gives you a lot of tools well beyond just creating a video from an image series including a complete VFX application (Fusion which is similar to Adobe After Effects) and a full audio processing system.   It is a professional tool, so the learning curve can be steep, but as noted above, there are a lot of great YouTube videos to help you along the way.

A good free/open source option is ShotCut. It has a lot of tools beyond creating a video from image series (full video editing software). Depending on your needs, you can use ShotCut and Resolve free together. Some things not available in the free version of Resolve are available in Shotcut. But this is for more advanced video editing. Also, sometimes Resolve can have problems opening some videos. You can usually use Shotcut to open the problem video and re-render it for use in Resolve.  Sorry, I know this is more in info than you were asking for, but if you get more into video editing, it might be of value in the future.

  • Thank you for the info, I will take a look at the application you wrote. At the moment I downloaded Davinci, although at first I didn't know how to create a movie from a series of images, I finally managed to find a video on YT that shows it :)
