A problem has resurfaced again. I use Poser 2014 and 3DSMax 2016. When I try to import a .OBJ version of a Clothed M4 I get the following error message: error in file meshName = shapeName exporting. I checked Autodesk's forum and found a so;ution which told me to open the .obj in a text editor and remove certain lines showing errors. I found no errors. When I imported a M4.obj that was nude, I had no problem. It just occurs when its clothed. I was able to import a V4 clothed figure earlier with no problems. At this point I am out of ideas.

Is this happening with all clothing or just certain clothing?

What if you try importing the obj into something else?

I d/l Propviewer and it fixed normals but found no duplicate faces. I then exported/saved the file. However I still get the same error message,
Thank you for the link, its a nice program.
So it's Max being particularly picky...
