Ok I'm close to wanting to create my own content in 4.8. Any good vids out there??

Daz 4.8 is not a modeler.  You will have to use an external application.
When you know what application you are going to use, then you can find some videos on that app.

But as Medzin suggested, it's probably better to get a specialized software that is designed for modeling.
