Questions about Converting Genesis People and Compatibility with Props

I'm working on Jill Valentine and Leon S. Kennedy from Resident Evil. I would like to use a pose pack for Genesis 9 people. Pack is made 3D Sugar. Is there an issue from using it? 

I'm wondering... Can this pose pack be used just on individuals, E.g: Male or Female G9?

Jill is a Genesis 8/8.1 and Leon S. Kennedy is Genesis 9.

Can Jill along with her Outfit and Props be converted to Genesis 9?

Are there converters that simplify the process?

There are pose converters, which you'll need because G9 and G8 have pretty different skeletons.

As you can see in your own screen shot, each pose comes in two parts. So yes, you can use these parts individually.

You can convert a G8 character and wearables to G9, and there are several converters available for this purpose. However, even with converters this is not a trivial process, and the conversion is not perfect. I would not recommend going this route unless your character is unique and irreplacable, you intend to use it frequently and in the long term, and you are willing to invest significant time, effort and skill to get a good conversion.

It is much easier to grab a pose converter and use the G8 character as is.

 Yes, but it will not autoattach, as the rigging in G9 is different from G8.

Yep ~ and you don't have to buy any products... The steps are shown as the screenshots down below.

Then, here's a pretty good freebie of Pose Converters from n_alexandru - https://www.renderosity.com/freestuff/items/93511/genesis-1238-pose-converter-for-genesis-9

Apply G8's Pose Presets with the script. It supports full body poses as well as partial body poses (hands, fingers, etc.)

The above method will enable using Smart Props from G8 to G9 once and for all. Next time, with other Smart Props, you just need to: dial Clone, load the prop, convert or dial hand poses, parent the prop and Zero Clone ~

 Can Jill which is 8/8.1F (the one used for the Battle Suit) be converted to Genesis 9? Or, Leon which is Genesis 9 (dodgy jacket) be converted to Genesis 8/8.1?

Can Genesis 9, in this case the whole Leon character, be converted to Genesis 8/8.1?

No matter in which direction you convert. You can kiss pretty much all shoes and some hairstyles goodbye. Even with converter tools, I have issues with some hairstyles I purchased for G8 and G3 over the years.

Just parent the hair and scale move to fit.
