I'm as attention hungry as the next artist, so let's try to do this art thread thing again. And since I prefer making renders of hot men, what better way to start than with a render of a woman:

This image is such a perfect example of how my brain works (or doesn't, as the case may be). The orc character was originally made for a one-off render, but came back to demand more. Now he has a name and the vague beginnings of a story.

The goblin character in the back was meant to be a one-off to balance out this image. He has now been in multiple renders, has a name as well, and is nagging me for a story.

With some luck I can get them out of my system before I accidentally grow more original characters…

Creating a scene where all the interesting stuff happens in the mirror is playing Daz Studio in hard mode. Do not recommend.

The first render I did of my custom character Taren after converting him from G8 to G9. It took some serious effort, but it was so worth it: He looks so much more like himself now.

Made to showcase the character Tinsley and his outfit. I see a few things I could have done better, but considering I made this while I was being boiled in my own bodily fluids (aka having covid), I'm impressed I managed to make it at all.

A messy room at night. There is a bin overflowing with empty drink cans. Dog toys, discarded socks, and a dropped pizza crust are on the floor around the sofa. On the sofa sits a young man with a take away pizza box next to him. He has a video game controller in his hands and is staring intently at something out of frame. An adorable little corgi is sleeping on his lap, its tongue hanging out.

Shinbo is a character that started as background filler to balance out a picture, and suddenly sprang to life as a full character when Faber released their glorious Imperial Blackout tattoos. He is a little ball of perpetual anger with no sense of humour, and this render is one of the few he would not kick my ass for.

A slim, muscular man with green skin and pointed ears stand before a large fire. He and his sharply-angled swords are splattered with blood and dirt, and there is a bloody puddle on the ground around him. A drop falls from his sword as he looks over his shoulder, giving the viewer a wicked smile that promises more violence.

A beefy troll with small tusks, long hair, lots of body hair, and very small thong in the bear flag colours at the beach. They are in the water, with an inflatable ring made to look like a donut, grinning from ear to ear.

A render I made for the "Dualism" contest on the 3D Shards forums, and one Shinbo would absolutely kick my ass for. Or throw the cat at me, whichever does the most damage.

Scene with green-skinned goblin trying to bathe a cat. He's currently holding the wet, foamy and spitting mad cat at arms length. He's splattered with both water and foam, and has a number of scratches on his arms as well as two prominent scratches down his cheek. His expression indicates he is enjoying this just as much as the cat.

When asked to make a promo for the soda can freebie on 3D Shards, I wanted to mimic the look and feel of real soda advertisements. Turns out making good-looking condensation and ice cubes is a non-trivlal amount of work, who'd'a thunk it?!

When Daz Slackers ran the "Infiltration" challenge, most of the entries were dark with people sneaking into assorted buildings. I ... made this.

Several young, pretty, and thin women in identical poses, with identical haircuts, and identical ballerina-inspired outfits on a bright and colourful stage, clearly captured mid-dance step. Among the women, with the same pose, haircut and outfit, is a chubby, masculine troll with very hairy legs and a glorious nose.
