Jumbo Jet VIP, and Jumbo Jet VIP Expanded for Iray, can the wings be removed?

I am looking at Jumbo Jet VIP, and Jumbo Jet VIP Expanded for Iray, and while the ad copy on both state you can remove whatever sections you don't need, i.e. the exterior and various sections of the interior...  the question I haven't been able to find an obvious answer to is this:

Can I easily remove the wings and such, while leaving the fuselage?  Looking the aircraft over, I find myself wanting to replace the wings with Buck Rogers rocket-fins, add some rocket engines to the outside, and turn the whole thing into a spaceship for a retro-future space-opera..

The jumbo jet consist of a number of objects, so yes you can hide them in the scene tab.
