DAZ 4.9 Installation Problems

Hi I try to install 4.9 with DIM on a Win10 Box

System asks for change Permission for for a DIM Helper Programm, that I approve.

Then Install instantly fails.

LogFile Says:

Installing product : DAZ Studio 4.9 (Win 64-bit)
WARNING: QProcess: Destroyed while process is still running.
Product installation failed : DAZ Studio 4.9 (Win 64-bit)

4.8 was also installed with DIM without problems

    But this allways opens an alert when it blocks something AFAIK.

    If you try it again does it still prompt for permission for DIMHelper?  Is there an "always allow this program" when you do?

    No it only prompts the first time i try to install it after i started DIM.

    When I restart DIm it asks again. Since it asks for rights for the Helper Program and not for the specific Task, I assume it keeps it rights as long it is runs.

     

    For Completeness:

    a)

    did not change anything.

     

    b) I get same behaviour for some other packages like Zev's Breast Control Puppeteer Support. So I assume this is a problem for everything that needs to put something in the Program Folder.

    c) Yes DAZ Studio was closed
