Hello, can someone help me, I want to use characters from the game in my animations. Characters are converted by other users. Can I use them in animations without Togo to break the rules?

From what game? If you have obtained characters that are ripped from a game then you cannot use them in anything you make legally.

  • Moved to Art Studio as this is not a Daz Studio topic - the question is, in the first place, what the creator of the original content allows, not what the license for the application you are using to work with them says. Only if the usage is permitted by the license holder does the application come into play, and yes generally Daz Studio would allow such work.

  • those characters are from the game League of Legends. and what do you mean ripped out? . They were just converted, I'm completely unfamiliar with this
  • Ripping is, in this context, taking a game asset and extracting/converting it to another format. Games do not usually allow their assets to be used in that way.

  • aah so why do they do it? Why do Patreon pages have this content? it's like music, you can't use any music in the video .. I don't know if it's the same in animations

  • so you say that I have a high probability of violating copyright.. ??

I have those models, they are downloadable from Riot Games on their own site for 3D printing and painting and using in your own fan art

    not for redistribution

they were here but now gone

  • As I said, check the publisher in general - some will be more relaxed about fan art than others.
