Installing 4.9 over 4.8

I have both Daz 4.8 and Poser 11 in my computer. 

When I install Daz Studio 4.9 will it overwrite 4.8 and automatically keep the locations of where everything is stored or will I have to teach 4.9 where everything is????     

Once I know what to expect I can let DIM install the new version.

4.9 will overwrite 4.8, it will transfer everything.

 

If you choose to use DAZ Connect, you should look at your settings and see if you approve the location it is going to install stuff to.
