G9 Clone not working?

Question on if anyone else is having this problem.  I'm currently using a Gen 8 figure and using MMX's Gen9 Clones for All to use a gen-9 dress and hair on her.  I have used both items with this addon before and it worked great but now it isn't working at all.

 

Not sure if it matters but:

- Hair is Aurelia hair
- Dress is Lady of Fate
- I've uninstalled Hair, dress, and clone then reinstalled them.  Then I restarted the computer.

I see no attachment... so what's the issue ? You couldn't see the auto-fit dialogue or the fitting result was wrong or something ?

I do see the image, and the issue (G8 is taller than the hair/clothes).

What options are you setting?

You mean the 'what kind of item is this?'  Honestly normally I just leave that unselected and it works - but I've tried cycling through all of them and nada.

I have the dress, but not the hair.

Autofitting the dress to a G8F works as expected using MMX clone.

Is the dress actually fitted to the character, i.e. if you pose the character does it then somehow follow.

For hair there is that speciality, if it is the hair where the hair is parented to a haircap, e.g. SBH hair, then autofit will mess up. But I don't think that is the case for this hair.

Thanks Richard! If it comes from imgur, it never works on my side.

It did and first time posting on the forums, I missed the 'attach a file' option.

Yep, if Attach a File works for you, always post screenshots with it ~

Now for trouble-shooting purpose, you may 1stly try this : press Alt Shift + J, then you'll see the Bones on both figure and clothing, anything weird ? Attach a screenshot if possible ~~

Not really - both bone sets overlap pretty exactly

Hmm ~ I have no other clue for the time being, but... you may further try this ~

- Press F2 in DS, clear DSON cache. Reload a G8F.
- Go to the product Default Resources for DAZ Studio, in Utility, there's a script Purge Memory, dbl-click to run it once or twice.

Then try Auto-Fit again, see what will happen ~

That works!! Thank you *so* much it was driving me nuts.  If other people are having problems:  It originally didn't work  so I closed everything down, uninstalled GS9 clone opened Daz, deleted the cach, then re-installed the clone.
