JCM and ERC freezing

Greetings,

I'm creating JCMs for a custom morph for Genesis 3. I can complete the JCM process, except for one problem. The default pose for the character is now in a posed position. Obviously I do not save in this state, but I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong.

My process:

1) Pose morphed figure and export.

2) Correct morphed figure and import with deformations reversed.

3) In the correct pose, ERC freeze the rotation.

This corrects the problem, but as I said, the default pose for the morph is now rotated.

ALSO: I there a way to pose a character and correct many issues, then import and ERC the corrections? I notice there is an pose option under the Reverse Deformations. I've tried it and haven't had much luck. Perhaps after the above issue is resolved I'll be able to get a bead on it.

Many thanks.

  • If this is a correction morph then that correction morph should be the only thing checked in the list at the foot of the dialogue, the rotation it is correcting for should be the controller, and the moprh it is correcting (if any) should be set to Attenuate (so that the correction morph kicks in only when both morph and rotation are set).

    Hey Richard,

Thanks for the assistance. I think I have it now. I lost the ERC order in my sleep, and was about to bother you again, but I just got it again before hitting the 'Post Comment' button. Thanks again!
