Video Card memory clearing

If you open multiple items and close them, do the items sit in video card memory?

Since CUDA will go to zero once max video memory is reached, are there any ways to cleanse video card memory without rebooting?

Is there a way to tell how much video memory a scene is using?

I've encountering renders growing longer, the longer I don't reboot. But Daz doesn't load from the angle at your save point, so you lose sequences.

Anyone have some workarounds?

You have a couple of problems...

The not loading from the same angle as you saved at, is because you are not using a camera, but rather the perspective view.  If you create a camera (you can have it pick up the current view on creation, it's one of the options), then it will reload at the same view it was saved at.

GPUZ https://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/ is a good tool to show what is going on with the video card.

If you are leaving each render window open after it is finished, that will eat up a lot of memory.  Saving or rendering direct to a file will maximize the available memory because it frees up what is being held in case you want to resume that render.
