Why the dforce of a plane behave like this?

I have a  plane as a blanket.
I added Dforce.
I rotate it to shift a bit.
But when I simulate, why it is instead of falling down, it fall to the lowest point, as if it slides.

    How many divisions did you give the plane primitive ? If there's not enough divisions set for the mesh to well drape, you may see such issue like "sliding".

    A good result of a draping blanket should come from setting enough divisions as well as the properties on its dynamic surface. (ss3)

  • You may also want to check the Environment setting for Air Resistance in the Simulation pane..  It doesn't take much above the default value for a tilted plane to slide toward the lowest point during simulation.

    I sometimes set Gravity to 2.0, the maximum value, when I want to simulate more quickly or force the object to conform better.

     50 subs ? what do you mean by subs ? SubD?  You couldn't get a 50 SubD... If it was 50 Divisions, it should be enough ~ Screenshots ?
