COMPATIBILITY WITH 4.9

I've been encountering more clothing products that say: 'Compatible software: 4.9'

Does that mean the clothing will not work on DazS- 4.8 or 4,6?

...Or that simply a reference to DazStudio?

    They should work in 4.8 unless they state encrypted DAZ connect as the only install method.

    That particular bit of the product pages has been misleading people for many years. It doesn't mean "this was made for D|S 4.9 and might or might not work in earlier versions", it means "the current release version of D|S is 4.9". If there are compatibility problems, they're more likely to be the other way round; some older content will misbehave or not work properly in 4.9.

    It isn't exactly...clear...is it.
